What data we process

We only process data that you provide to us yourself or that is needed for our services, for example when you contact us, are a customer or supplier, or apply for a job. This includes data such as:

name and company name;
contact details, such as email address, phone number and address;
the content of your messages and our correspondence;
data needed for orders, deliveries and invoices;
data from your application, such as your CV and cover letter.

Why we use this data

We use your data to:

answer your questions and stay in touch with you;
carry out agreements and contracts, such as orders and deliveries;
handle job applications;
comply with legal obligations, such as keeping our accounts;
improve our website and services.

We only process your data when there is a legal basis for doing so: your consent, the performance of a contract, a legal obligation or our legitimate interest.

How long we keep data

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we received it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. For example, we keep financial records for seven years because of our statutory tax retention obligation. We delete applicants' data no later than four weeks after the application procedure has ended, or after one year if you give us permission to keep it longer.

Sharing with others

We do not sell your data. We only share it with others when this is necessary for our services or required by law, such as suppliers who look after our IT, website or accounts, and carriers. With parties that process data on our behalf, we make agreements about the security and confidentiality of your data.

In principle, we process your data within the European Union. If processing does take place outside the EU, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
